Take advantage of the free ice pops offered post-onsen for a refreshing treat after your soak.

missingWrote a review on 23 Novpublic bathice popslimited capacitylift inconvenience
The public bath offers a unique experience, though it's best suited for smaller groups. A nice touch is the availability of free ice pops after using the onsen.
The onsen's size limits its capacity to six people, which could be a letdown for larger groups. Only one lift serves the entire building, often leading to long waits—a bit ridiculous for a place that claims to be GRANDE. The access to the underground subway is inconvenient. the B1 linkway is closed before 7am, forcing you to drag your luggage on the street level, which can be a sweaty mess.

The hotel offers direct access to the underground Unimall.
My experience was quite disappointing due to the noticeable location issues. It's about 11 to 15 minutes on foot from Nagoya Station, which is quite a distance when you're hauling luggage. Additionally, while I appreciated the rooms' reasonable layout, they felt cramped, especially if you're carrying more than just a few bags.

Walking through the underground passage from the subway made for a seamless arrival, especially during rainy weather. The onsen experience was delightful, and I appreciated the refreshing icy poles afterwards. However, the room was quite cramped, particularly when trying to manage larger luggage, and navigating to the entrance can be a bit tricky for newcomers. Limited dining options within the hotel meant venturing out for meals, though there are nearby eateries.

The location offers excellent underground access to shops and dining options, making it very convenient, especially during the winter. The amenities like filtered water in the onsen changing rooms and the option to rent a hair straightener were impressively thoughtful touches. However, the rooms felt somewhat cramped when accommodating larger luggage, and I noticed limited dining options within the hotel itself. While I appreciated the public bath's serenity, its hours could be more flexible to cater to guest schedules.
